Maritime MT (sometimes referred to as Maritime Training Malta in older listings) is a DNV-certified maritime training centre based in the Hal Far Industrial Estate. It is best known for STCW programmes for the merchant navy and superyacht sectors, but it also runs the Transport Malta Nautical Licence course for recreational boaters.

The centre houses two full-mission bridge simulators among the most advanced in Europe, and operates through three academies: a Small Craft Academy, a Merchant Navy Academy and a Superyacht Academy. The Nautical Licence course fee is €275 (excluding Transport Malta exam and admin charges). Maritime MT is a useful option for candidates who want a structured, professionally-run classroom course but do not need integrated RYA tuition.
