The 50% deposit is only refundable if the boat has a malfunction which hinders it to depart.

Bad Weather

In case of bad weather conditions, the skipper shall do his utmost to find alternative attractions which could be limited, keeping into consideration the safety of the crew and guests. In order to reach these attractions and in an effort to get the best of the excursion, an alternative pick-up point can also be arranged, however the guests have to arrive at this location at their own expense. Malta Cruise Charters will do its utmost to help out in the organisation.

Misbehaviour

Should any guests not be in control of their behaviour which could be of danger to the crew or other guests or could even result in damage to the cabin cruiser, the skipper shall have the right to disembark this guest at the nearest possible disembarkation point and ask for compensation for the extra fuel consumed, from the person booking the charter and who is signing this contract. The Captain is responsible for the persons on-board and therefore any decision taken by him is final.

Pick-Up Point

The embarkation point is at St. Paul’s Bay quay (Bugibba quay) at 10:00am sharp. Guests are encouraged to be punctual as this is a very popular and busy quay where most of the cruises depart for Comino, and therefore the cabin cruiser cannot stay at the quay for more than 15 minutes. Should guests envisage that they shall be late, they are to inform Malta Cruise Charters one hour before the agreed pick-up time. In the unfortunate circumstance that guests arrive more than 30 minutes later than the scheduled time, unless advised, the charter will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. The embarkation time shall be at 10:00am and return is at 18:00 at the same place of pick-up, unless advised otherwise. Should guests prefer to enjoy further time on the cabin cruiser, this is possible at a charge of €75.00 per hour. If there is this intention, it is only fair to advise the skipper by not later than 16:00 so the crew can make their personal arrangements. The standard route is from St. Paul’s Bay around Comino, the Southern part of Gozo which can also include Paradise Bay and Mellieha Bay. Should guests request to venture further, this is also possible at an extra charge per extra nautical mile.
The cabin cruiser is fully air-conditioned, however the air-conditioner will only be operational when the cabin cruiser is moored on the pontoon and where there is 240V current. The cabin cruiser is well ventilated since it has a large number of port holes and therefore the necessity of an air-conditioner is limited. The air-conditioner operates through a large generator which creates noise pollution and inconvenience while swimming, not only to our guests but also to other swimmers.

Food and Beverage

Drinks including wine are available on-board as per price list available on-board. Should specific alcohol requirements be requested, this is also possible if advised beforehand. There are various options for food. Self-catering is also possible and one can use the catering equipment on-board, only under supervision. Alternatively, we can take you to a variety of restaurants from snacks to high quality according to one’s preference by the cabin cruiser’s tender. This could also be done in Gozo where there are also a variety of restaurants specialising in fish, meat or Chinese. We can organise all bookings beforehand on your behalf, however you will need to pay the restaurants directly. We can also offer on-board catering which needs to be ordered beforehand and can vary from sushi, Chinese, fish, meat, barbeque, etc.
